Dielectric Coatings – Dielectric Filters/Mirrors are very stable, absorption-free multi-layer interference coatings. They allow highly accurate and efficient separation of individual regions of the UV, visible and NIR spectra

Typical applications are color and heat management, separation of visible and NIR spectra, laser beamsteering and bandpass filtering. Materion Balzers Optics' proprietary sputter technology produces dense and shift-free coatings which are extremely stable in the presence of operating temperature variations and under harsh environmental conditions.

Dielectric coatings offer specific optical and functional properties:
